Prolio

Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-07-24

This is an informational translation. The Spanish version at /es/legal/terms prevails in case of any discrepancy.

1. Scope

Prolio connects users with professionals in Spain, France, the USA, Canada, Mexico and Colombia through a public directory and, where applicable, contact requests (leads) addressed to a specific listing. Prolio is not a mediator, advisor, or party to the professional-client relationship.

2. Accounts

Professionals claim their listing with a verified work email and are responsible for data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

3. User duties

  • Use the site lawfully.
  • Do not submit false or offensive data.
  • Only use professional data to contact them about their published professional activity.
  • No spam.

4. Plans, payments and withdrawal right

Basic listing is free. Paid plans billed through Stripe. Consumer withdrawal right under Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 — note that it is lost once the service starts with the consumer's express consent (Art. 103.m TRLGDCU).

5. Contact requests (leads)

From a listing page, a user can send a message or request a call. The request (name, email, optional phone, message) is delivered whole and exclusively to the owner of the contacted listing, who replies to the user directly. Prolio does not sit in the middle, takes no commission per lead, and never resells contact data. Professionals may only use the data to answer that request and cannot reuse it for marketing without their own legal basis.

6. Acceptable use

  • No scraping, bypassing rate limits or contact-gates, reverse engineering, or impersonation.
  • Breach may result in suspension, IP blocking, and legal action.

7. Liability

Service is "as is". Aggregate liability capped at amounts paid in the prior 12 months where law allows. Gross negligence, wilful misconduct and mandatory consumer rights not excluded.

8. Changes

Material changes notified at least 15 days in advance (immediate when legally required).

9. Termination

Either party may terminate with reasonable notice. Immediate termination for abuse, fraud or legal orders.

10. Governing law

Spanish law. Consumer mandatory forum applies, and consumers outside Spain keep the mandatory protections of their country of residence; otherwise courts of the provider's domicile.
